These Terms and Conditions (T&C) outline the terms of use for GitOwl. By using the website or the browser extension (services), you acknowledge that you have read, understood and agreed to be bound by these T&C. If you do not agree to these T&C, you may not access or use our services.

We reserve the right to update or modify these T&C periodically, without prior notice. Your continued use of GitOwl after any such changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised T&C.

1. Product & Features

GitOwl provides analytics on public, open source data. Some of the features are only accessible to users who have purchased GitOwl subscription. Additionally, the functionality of the services may be limited for users who have not signed in.

2. Product Updates

By signing in with your GitHub account or providing your email, you agree to receive important product updates related to GitOwl. You can unsubscribe from these updates at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link provided in the email.

3. Prohibited Activities

You agree not to access, attempt to access or reverse engineer any of GitOwl's private services. You also agree not to abuse the service in any way. We reserve the right to limit or terminate your access to the service if we determine that you have violated these prohibitions.

4. Warranties and Limitation of Liability

GitOwl aims to provide accurate, up-to-date analytics. However, we do not guarantee the quality, accuracy or completeness of the information provided by our service. We are not liable for any direct or indirect damages arising from your use or inability to use the service.

5. Miscellaneous

These T&C are governed by the laws of the United Kingdom. Any disputes arising from or related to these T&C shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the United Kingdom. These T&C constitute the entire agreement between you and GitOwl with respect to the service and supersede all prior or contemporaneous communications and proposals, whether oral or written, between you and GitOwl.
